About Behive, a grassroots local initiative
Behive, a local startup based on the Gold Coast, was founded by visionary entrepreneur Francine Tavares, an immigrant driven by a mission to inspire circular thinking. Three years ago, Francine began by placing a white recycling bin outside her garage and knocking on over 100 doors to educate her neighbour’s about waste and recycling. This grassroots effort grew into an innovative platform that turns sustainability awareness into impactful, everyday actions.
